And yet, ANOTHER benefit of daily exercise!

The key to a healthy lifestyle: diet and exercise. Living a healthy lifestyle can help you live longer and help you look younger while doing it!

Studies show that regular aerobic exercise is a must for anyone committed to slowing the aging process. With an increase in blood flow to the skin, there is also an increase in the rate of new cell growth and oils for moisture. Exercise not only helps keep your body in shape, flexible and healthy, but your skin as well as it helps keep the skin supple to prevent wrinkle formation.

So what will you do to slow the aging process? Jogging around your neighborhood? Heading to the gym? Joining a yoga class? Or my personal favorite, rollerblading! Now it's your turn- what's your favorite stay young activity?

Check out how the celebs get their gorgeous skin- It might be easier than you think!

Somehow or another, every celebrity seems to have perfect, flawless skin. In every movie, ever episode, every award show- they never have a day where the don't look perfect. How annoying is that? What's even more annoying is that they make it sound so easy!

Demi Moore says she simply focuses on moisturizing her face, Naomi Watts just drinks plenty of water and gets facials every 6 to 8 weeks, Sarah Jessica Parker promotes sunscreen use for healthy skin, and Jessica Alba reveals her secret as washing her face every single night- no exceptions.

Now you must be wondering "Huh? So if I do those simple things, I can have skin like theirs?"

Maybe not exactly- but these simple steps sworn by the celebrities themselves, will prove for long-lasting healthy skin.

It's just like Zooey Deschanel said, "Take care of your skin and you won't need too much makeup."

How far are you willing to go for fabulous skin?

What comes to mind when you think of Bee venom? How about bird poop? Ceramic Crystal? Now think of each of these as part of your beauty routine. Not too appealing, right?

Believe it or not, each of these have been used by skin experts, estheticians, and others working in the  skincare field as an alternative beauty routine.

Bird poop is used during facials as a way to help break down and remove out layers of skin cells (don't worry, the bird poop is sterilized first!)

And be sure to check out Kate Middleton's skin, as she attributes her fabulous skin to bee venom. This type of treatment is a way to plump up and tighten the skin quickly and effectively.

And ceramic crystal therapy is a procedure in which ceramic crystals are injected into your face to make you look younger giving you a 'porcelain complexion.' Actress Jerry Hall has been known to use this treatment to make her look younger.

So what do you all think about this? Is this going TOO far in the name of anti-aging? Or is this something you would try?

Can you believe this spring makeup style?! We want your opinion, is this a do or don't?

Spring is here and it's time to see what the fashion world has for us to try out this season! These women flaunt the bright blue, highlighting their eyes-- It's a springy color, right?

Now I've always been a fan of the neutral browns and greens for my blue eyes- you know, nothing too showy- but these pictures make me want to try something new! What do you guys think? Can it be pulled off or is it too much?

Think the rain is an excuse for a lazy day? Check out these pictures and think again!

When it comes to rainy dreary days, I can't seem to find any motivation. I don't know if it's just me, but when I wake up and see dark clouds out my window, I throw on my go-to rainy day clothes. Usually something like a big hooded sweatshirt that I'll throw on for  class, a cozy sweater, or a raincoat. But after seeing these pictures, I have just a little more motivation for fashion on those dreary days.

I mean, look at these outfits! I am obsessed with the brightly colored rain boots that jazz up any look. What better way to beat the weather than showing it up with fabulous fashion!? So what do you think? Is your rainy day outfit something like mine? Or something like these  glam women?

Have you seen Zooey Deschanel's skin? Need I say more?

As one of my favorite actresses, I often wonder: How does she do it? How does she get such radiant, flawless skin? Sure, she's a celebrity, but even so, what are her secrets? And why can't I have skin like that?!

Zooey is adored for her clear skin and "clean" makeup look when compared to many other actresses. She says, "Take care of your skin and you won't need too much makeup." It's great to see a celebrity so focused on skincare and flaunting her natural glow.

However.... speaking for myself, I know I still need plenty of makeup for my skin to look anywhere near Zooey's level. So for now, I'll cleanse, exfoliate, tone, moisturize- anything to get skin like Zooey Deschanel!

Get the legs you've always wanted, we'll tell you how!

You know it when you see them- those celebs with AMAZING legs that seem impossible for anyone else to even come close to having. Like how Carrie Underwood can flaunt them on stage during summer concerts or Beyonce who had everyone in awe of at this year's Superbowl.

So what's the secret? Besides their advantages of having fabulous personal trainers and time devoted to awesome workouts, there is a way you, too can make your legs look amazing with just one simple product,  Shea Body Butter

This intense hydration will leave every inch of your skin silky and smooth. Not only does this lotion moisturize and nourish, but also naturally protects the skin with its vitamins and antioxidants. Apply  directly after getting out of the shower, and while your legs may not have that instant muscular tone like Carrie or Beyonce, your legs will look radiant and feel celebrity-smooth.

Don't Believe in Multi-tasking Products? Think Again.

It's that time of year, when my skin just cracks. Whether it's my elbows, my hands, or my legs, no amount of lotion can keep up with how dry my skin is right now. In my desperation, I tried Enza's NutriGel. After getting out of the shower, I put it on the driest parts of my body- my hands and elbows and it has truly worked wonders!

My skin feels much more refreshed and much less irritated. And get this, the Nutri-Gel is packed with aloe vera. So about that sunburn prone skin (it's the Irish in me, ugh)... Sunburn and sun damage won't stand a chance come summertime!

Sounds like my skin's new best friend.

Show 'em Off!

How ready are you for a refreshed spring look? I know I am more than ready to kick off my boots and scarves and slip on shorts and a t-shirt. And now that I don't have to hide my hands behind layers of mittens and gloves, I've finally gotten around jazzing up my nails! I've seen so many adorable nail designs lately, and as much as I love to be pampered with a manicure, there are way too many cute DIY nail ideas that I cannot wait to try!

This one is my favorite spring nail I've found-- flip flops nail art.  It's simple, but a perfect spring look! I'm going to try this one out this weekend and I can't wait to see how it turns out! What are some of your favorite spring nail designs? What DIY nail art secrets do you have?

This New Look will do Wonders for Your Skin

Not to be cliche, but I can't help it with this one-- when it comes to Christina Aguilera's new look, less is so much more. With minimal makeup (left), she shows off her more refined and natural side of her. I don't know about you, but I think she looks fabulous!

And lets not forget, her skin must be letting out one big sigh of relief-- literally! Excess makeup often ends up suffocating the skin over time, which can lead to major breakouts, unwanted blemishes and early signs of aging. But luckily for Christina, her skin still looks as stunning and flawless as ever. What do you all think? How well does Christina pull off her new look?

Throwing out Winter's Leftovers

I know I can't be the only one who is tired of waiting for the snow to stop falling, the temperatures to raise and for my skin finally cheer up! It's March already! I've had just about enough of the freezing weather, the snow and the cold winds that make me and my skin quite irritated.

With Spring on its way (at least we hope so!) it's getting to be that time. Time to slough off the winter damage, time to start my spring skincare routine, and time to put an end to irritating, dry skin that not even my moisturizer can handle much more of. This  can only mean one thing--it's time for a Microdermabrasion! The flaky skin I see after I get out of the shower is all the evidence I need to be sure. It is time I do my part in getting rid of the leftovers winter has left with me and prepare myself (and my skin) for springtime!

It's about that Time

You wouldn't wear the same huge puffy jacket that you wear in the winter during the spring, would you? So, why would you wear the same moisturizer? OR skincare products? As the seasons change, so must your skincare-- and the clothes in your closet. So even though this winter, I talked about how I fell in love with the Sustaining Glow Creme, I just might need to switch as we move into spring.

My new personal favorite moisturizer for this "in between" time is the Vitamin C Serum! I don't quite need the full force of the Sustaining Glow Creme twice a day, so in the morning, I use the Vitamin C Serum and at night, the Glow Creme. Be sure to assess your Spring skin and you might realize that it's about time to get some new products!

And Now You Can

Anyone up for a shopping date? I am SO excited to finally see these cute spring styles on the street instead of them hiding behind parkas and jackets. Now after seeing them I want them- all of them! I am absolutely obsessed with these. My favorite is the rose colored skinnys with the black striped top. What about you out there, which style do you love?

Satisfy that Sweet Tooth!

Maybe you feel like we're always telling you to be healthy, eat for your skin and avoid those empty calories. We consistently tell you to rid yourself of those bad habits. Seems like we're taking the fun out of everything, huh? Well, maybe not-- healthy recipes and recipes that promote good health don't have to be bland oatmeal or a plain salad. There is one of my favorite yummy recipes that is truly good for overall health (and that means skin, too!)

Dark Chocolate Dipped Trio
What you need--
  • 12 Strawberries-A fruit jam-packed with antioxidants which help fight aging
  • 1 bar of Dark chocolate- Is rich in flavanoids which improves the skin texture and can reduce reddened skin
  • 12 Walnuts, chopped- This good-for-you fat help your skin look smoother, plumper, and more hydrated
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate completely, and stir. Holding the stem of the strawberry, dip each one onto the melted chocolate and place it on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts onto the strawberries before the chocolate dries. Repeat for all 12 of the strawberries, evenly distributing the chopped walnuts on the strawberries. When completed, place the baking sheet with the strawberries in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving.

The recipe makes 12 strawberries- enjoy as a dessert, a snack, or as a healthy way to cure your sweet tooth! Remember: eat in moderation to be sure you get benefits before they backfire on you!

The Best Sleep you Never Got

I've learned a lot in my college classes- about terms, theories, and practices-  But more than any of these, college has taught me how to function with the least amount of sleep possible.

There are a few simple ways to do this. The first and most important of these is looking like you are perfectly well rested. Because if you look awake, you feel awake. First, I chug a glass of water which usually gets me going enough to start boiling water for my cup of (caffeinated) tea. Then I assess the damage in my bathroom mirror.

With my Enza products close by, I start with normal routine and finish with the Sustaining Glow Creme to brighten up my zombie-like complexion. And to get rid of those dark circles and puffy under-eyes, the Eyebright Eye Gelee usually does the trick. And while I'm not a makeup artist by any means, by using a light eye shimmer on my lower lash, brow bone and corners of my eyes, can truly work wonders on tired eyes.

Next thing I know, I'll be sitting through class, trying to pay attention to whatever new theory my professor is talking about, and I probably won't really be learning anything. But I sure look like I am. Oh the things you learn in college.

Your Makeup Loves Your Skin, Too!

We all know that women have mastered the art of multi-tasking. Although many men won't admit it, we seem to find more and more ways to get two, three, or four things done at once. Whether its typing and email and eating breakfast, working out and reading your favorite magazine, or even talking on the phone and writing out your grocery list while browsing the internet for new recipes. It's true--we've become experts at doing it all. Which means this shouldn't be any different for our beauty routine. We've found a few products that are perfect for the multi-tasking woman. These makeups will act like your normal makeups, but care for your skin at the same time! Here are some of our favorites!
  • Moisturize and Cover- Say goodbye to heavy foundations that weigh down your skin! New options such as tinted moisturizers and BB creams combine moisture, concealer, and SPF all in one.
  • Conceal and Treat- Trying to cover a blemish can often do more harm than good, however now there are new concealers that treat while they cover up.
  • SPF and Lipstick- Protecting your lips is important since the skin on your lips is sensitive to sun exposure. With SPF components added into your favorite lipsticks, you can dress and protect!
Prove you are a true multi-tasker with a few of these hot new makeups!

And the Winner goes to...

I was going through my usual Sunday night routine- vegging out on the couch with my roommates- when we clicked to the Oscars. While we were watching, we all picked out our favorite dresses (I still say, Amanda Seyfried's, no doubt), drooled over guys in suits (did you see Chad Michael Murray?!) and sat wishing we could afford just one of the diamonds on Anne Hathaway's stunning Tiffany& Co. necklace.

While they continued arguing over dresses and jewelry  I couldn't help but interrupt- OH my gosh, look at Jessica Chastain! I could not stop obsessing over her seemingly flawless look. Maybe it's just because my ultra-pale skin and dark hair would never allow me to pull off the red lips like hers but I was absolutely in love with her look. You guys, why can't I look like that?

Her look, was classic-  gorgeous skin, long lashes, thick eyeliner and red lips that really made a statement. I think it goes without saying- she was by far my favorite look of the night. How about all you out there? What was your favorite look of the night?
